January 7, 1899
The church held its regular meeting this evening and after sermon by the pastor proceeded to business
1. On motion, C. O. Showen was elected clerk protem.
2. Treasurer reported $3.50 on pastor's salary, $2.76 for sexton and $5.42 on incidentals.
3. On motion, adjourned.

Called meeting of Triplett Church Jan. 21, 1899.
1. Opened by devotional exercises.
2. The church was called to order by the clerk, for the transaction of business.
3. On motion, Bro. C. F. West elected Moderator protem.
4. The moderator explained briefly the object of meeting-namely-the propriety or the impropriety of discontinuing Rev. J. N. Fox as pastor, and after considerable discussion, the following resolution offered by the clerk, was unanimously adopted by membership present, which was twenty-six. Resolved that we as a church in called meeting assembled have this day agreed to retain Rev. J. N. Fox as pastor of this church and that we as a church are unwilling to discontinue his service as such until he decides that it will be best for the church and the community.
5. On motion, adjourned.

Feb. 11, 1899 The church held its regular meeting this evening and after sermon by the pastor proceeded to business.
1. On motion brother Chenoweth Stalnaker was received for baptism.
2. On motion, the extension of the hand of welcome to brother Chenoweth Stalnaker was deferred until Sunday, Feb. 12, 1899.
3. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
4. Treasurer reported $9.50 on pastor's salary and $.25 for sexton.
5. On motion, adjourned.

Sunday, February 12, 1899
The church was called to order for the transaction of business.
1. On motion brother S. Truman was received on his baptism and the hand of fellowship was extended
2. On motion, brethern A. R. Thomas, P. H. Morford, Roy McCoy and John Showen and sisters Ellie Somerville and Vera Morford were received for baptism and received the hand of welcome together with bro. Chenoweth Stalnaker.
3. On motion, sister Lizzie Tallman was granted a letter of recommendation.

March 11, 1899
The church held its regular meeting this evening, and after sermon by the pastor proceeded to business.
1. On motion, brother Robert Short was restored to fellowship of this church.
2. On motion, Bro. Jacob Runion was received for baptism.
3. The hand of fellowship was extended to brother Robert Short and the hand of welcome to brother Jacob Runion.
4. On motion, brother W. T. Craig was granted a letter of commendation.
5. On motion, sister Jennie (Fairbee) Sayres was granted a letter of dismission and recommendation.
6. Treasurer reported $2.50 on pastor's salary and $.15 on incidental expenses.
7. On motion, it was ordered that a committee be appointed to make necessary arrangements to procure new music for the church, and the moderator appointed sister Sophia Morford and brother C. D. Springston and J. S. West as such committee.
8. On motion, adjourned

April 8, 1899
The church met this evening and after sermon by the pastor proceeded to business.
1. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
2. On motion, brother Ira Bridwell was received by letter from the Little Creek Baptist Church.
3. The committee on music was continued on common consent
4. Treasurer reported $3.25 on pastor's salary and $1.17 on incidental expenses since last report.
5. Brother Ira Bridwell received the hand of fellowship.
6. On motion, adjourned.

May 13, 1899
The church held regular service and after sermon by the pastor proceeded to business.
1. On motion, sister Hanna Morford was received for baptism and hand of welcome was extended.
2. On motion the committee on music was retained until work is completed.
3. Treasurer reported $4.35 on last year's salary of pastor and $1.00 on present year and $.30 on incidental expenses.
4. It appearing brother W. T. Craig had not received letter of commendation, on motion, the Clerk was directed to send him another.
5. On motion, adjourned.

August 12, 1899
The church held its regular service this evening and after sermon by the pastor, proceeded to business.
1. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
2. The committee on music reported one dozen "Select Gems" and one-half dozen "Salvation Songs" purchased.
3. On motion the report of the committee on music was received and the committee discharged.
4. Treasurer reported $1.25 cents on pastor's salary and $1.03 on incidental expenses.
5. On motion, it was ordered that the church prepare to meet the Association, and the clerk was ordered to prepare the letter.
6. The moderator appointed brother J. D. Springston, S. J. Newlon and E. H. Bartlett delegates to the Association.
7. Brethern C. D. Springston and C. O.. Showen and sister Zana Corder were appointed a committee to raise money for the various missions and for minutes.
8. On motion, adjourned.

Sept. 9, 1899
The church held its regular service this evening and after sermon by the pastor, proceeded to business.
1. On motion, brother C. C. Riddel was granted a letter to unite with the Little Creek Baptist Church.
2. Treasurer reported $6.00 on pastor's salary and $2.44 on incidentals.
3. On motion the letter to the Association was adopted as read.
4. On motion, adjourned.

1. On motion, sister Victoria Mace, who had been baptized by Rev. J. N. Burdette, was received and the hand of fellowship was extended.
2. On motion, brother C. F. West and sister Florence West were granted letters to unite with the Spencer Baptist Church.

November 11, 1899
The church met and after sermon by the pastor, proceeded to business.
1. Minutes of the September and October meetings were read and approved.
2. On motion, brother W. T. Craig was granted a letter of recommendation and dismission. N.B. The clerk, realizing he could not produce a letter that would satisfy brother Craig, asked that some one else either dictate or write the letter which he (the clerk) would write as dictated and sign when written; and, the moderator agreeing to write the letter and the clerk agreeing to sign it when written, its preparation was left in the hands of the moderator with the understanding the clerk would sign it officially.
3. Treasurer reported $10.25 on pastor's salary and $.35 on incidental expenses since last report.
4. On motion, adjourned.

The Church held regular service this evening and after sermon by the pastor, proceeded to business.
1. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
2. On motion, sister Nannie Showen was granted a letter of recommendation and dismission.
3. Treasurer reported $4.65 on pastor's salary and $1.20 on incidental expenses since last report.
4. The finance committee reported that they employed brother E. H. Bartlett as sexton beginning with the October meeting in 1899.
5. On motion, adjourned.
