BATTEN, TANNER posted by Barbara Cleary on Wednesday, March 15, 2000

I am looking for information on the BATTEN family. My father was born in Spencer, April 21, 1882 I believe. He owned a hotel in Spencer around 1900. He lived in Charleston most of his life, returning to Spencer when he retired from the Marietta Torpedo Co. in the 1950's. He was married to Martha TANNER, and died April 19, 1979. He and all his family are buried in the Spencer. I would appreciate any info you can give me. My son is trying to make a family tree for his children
