Joseph GRAHAM & Elizabeth Jane, his wife, arrived on Middle Fork of Reedy, purchased 500 acres of land & commenced a home on it some time prior to the Civil War. He was a real Scotchman of the thin-faced, slender, straight-limbed, erect type. They had been married in Baltimore, MD & 1 or more of their oldest children was born in Baltimore, MD. They were devout Wesleyan Methodists. Their sons & daughters were: Melissa m. T.M. BRUNNER in 1866; Mary A. m. Richard DULIN; David William; Sarah Alcinda m. Jacob Tichnell CHANCEY; Aleinda & Joseph Jr. m. Margaret 'Maggie' E. DAVIS.

David & William went 'west' about 1875.

Joseph & Margaret GRAHAM Jr. lived on the Middle Fork of Reedy for some 20 years. Their children: Clarence m. Alma FIELDS in Wood Co.; Elizabeth m. Mr. GIVENS & Orlie was not married. The family moved to Rockland, Ohio where they have lived since.
