Feb. 13, 1897 The church met and after sermon by the Pastor proceeded to business. Treasurer reported $1.35 pastor's salary and $.35 for incidental expenses.

Church met and after sermon by the Pastor transacted the following business. The clerk being absent, on motion of Bro. S. J. Newlon, C. F. West was elected clerk protem. The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Treasurer reported $4.85 collected during the past month on pastor's salary and $1.05 for sexton. On motion adjourned.

The church held its regular meeting and after sermon by pastor, proceeded to business. Treasurer reported $6.65 on last year's salary of pastor, and $.50 on current year and $.55 for incidental expenses. On motion of T. H. Springston, brother M. Showen was retained as Sexton on terms of last year. On motion, sisters Jemima Corder, Lizzie Newlon and Bro. Jeff Springston were appointed a committee to solicit subscriptions on pastor's salary for current year. On motion adjourned.

The church was called to order for the transaction of business. On motion sister Annie Newlon was received for baptism. On motion the appointment of all soliciting committees were rescinded and the entire finance of the church intrusted to the Deacons. Sister Lillie West received the hand of fellowship. The church met and after sermon by the pastor proceeded to business.
1. On motion Ira S. Bartlett was granted a letter to unite with the Little Creek Baptist Church.
2. Treasurer reported $3.75 on last year's salary of pastor. $7.00 on current year and $.45 cents for current incidental expenses.
3. On motion it was ordered that a new article providing for a report of Deacons be inserted in the order of business to be known as article No. 6 of said order.

The church met and after devotional exercise, conducted by C. F. West who had been duly elected Moderator Pro Tempore, proceeded to business.
1. Brother Jeff Springston reported $33.85 cents subscribed on pastor's salary.
2. Treasurer reported $7.30 on salary of pastor and $1.47 on incidental expenses.
3. On motion, it was ordered that the clerk be empowered to insert "Triplett Baptist Church" in lieu of "Little Creek Baptist Church", in the Constitution of this church, "Triplett" being the proper name.
4. Clerk read Rules of Decorum and Constitution.
5. On motion, adjourned.

May 7, 1898
The church held its regular meeting and after sermon by pastor proceeded to business.
1. Treasurer reported $2.25 on pastor's salary since last report and $41.75 on last year's salary. $1.16 on incidental expenses since last report.
2. On motion, it was ordered that a collection be taken for the purpose of purchasing a pitcher, glasses and duster for the church.
3. On motion, sisters Gay Hanger, Osie Morford and Berta Springston were appointed to assist in raising money for the below mentioned purpose.
4. On motion, it was ordered that Bro. J. A. Corder and family be released if they wish to be, from paying to pastor of this church so that they may assist the brethern of like faith and order at Leather Bark Calhoun County West Virginia.
5. By common consent Bro. C. D. Springston was appointed to solicit subscription from members of this church for the support of the gospel at Leather Bark Calhoun County W. Va.

The church was called to order by the Moderator for the transaction of business.
1. On motion, sister Lucy M. Hanger who has been immersed some years ago by Rev. Wilbur Spencer, was received into full connection with this church after which the hand of fellowship was extended to her and sisters Roxie and Zona Corder.
2. The finance committee, the Deacons, appointed sisters Jemima Corder, Florence West, Lucy Hanger, Osie Morford, Myrtle McCoy, and Hattie Newlon a committee to raise money for the various mission fields.

August 13, 1898
The church held its regular meeting this evening and after sermon by the pastor proceeded to business.
1. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
2. Brother Jeff Springston reported $29.50 subscribed on pastor's salary.
3. Sister Myrtle McCoy reported fifty cents Home Missions, sixty cents Foreign missions and fifty cents for State Mission signed and paid.
4. Treasurer reported $1.00 on last year's salary of pastor, $1.00 on present year and $.25 on incidental expenses since last report.
5. On motion, the resignation of bro. J. C. Bartlett as trustee of this church was accepted.
6. On motion, Bro. C. F. West was appointed trustee of this church in lieu of Bro. J. C. Bartlett, resigned.
7. On motion the clerk was ordered to prepare a letter to the Association
8. On motion, brethern C. W. Thomas, Martin Mace and John Marks were appointed delegates to the Association.
9. On motion, sisters Jemima Corder, Sarah Hanger and Florence West and brethern Jeff Springston and S. J. Newlon were appointed a committee on entertaining.

4. Treasurer reported $.50 cents on last year's salary of pastor, $.70 on present year and $.35 on incidental expenses. Also, that $12.35 had been paid on present year's salary and that $53.00 was the entire amount of salary paid last year. Treasurer reported $.80 cents had been paid on pump and steps.

2. The church was called to order by the clerk, for the transaction of business.
3. On motion, Bro. C. F. West elected Moderator protem.
4. The moderator explained briefly the object of meeting-namely-the propriety or the impropriety of discontinuing Rev. J. N. Fox as pastor, and after considerable discussion, the following resolution offered by the clerk, was unanimously adopted by membership present, which was twenty-six. Resolved that we as a church in called meeting assembled have this day agreed to retain Rev. J. N. Fox as pastor of this church and that we as a church are unwilling to discontinue his service as such until he decides that it will be best for the church and the community.

2. On motion, brother W. T. Craig was granted a letter of recommendation and dismission. N.B. The clerk, realizing he could not produce a letter that would satisfy brother Craig, asked that some one else either dictate or write the letter which he (the clerk) would write as dictated and sign when written; and, the moderator agreeing to write the letter and the clerk agreeing to sign it when written, its preparation was left in the hands of the moderator with the understanding the clerk would sign it officially.
3. Treasurer reported $10.25 on pastor's salary and $.35 on incidental expenses since last report.
