My great grandmother was Doyle Marie Samples I believe her mothers maiden name was Martha Chapman? I have old family photo's and unable to place a name on them.
Doyle married Clyde Layman and lived in Linden WV? In 1915 Clyde was killed in a mill accident in Richwood WV. Had 2 sons Paul and Frank (Frank was born 2 mo after his fathers death).They lived in Linden WV and Marietta Ohio.
I believe Doyle Marie Samples-Layman married a gentleman named Ferrell in the early 30's. And lived in Marietta Ohio.
