I am seeking the descendants of Capt. John White SPENCER of the 11th W.Va. Volunteer Infantry (Union) of the Civil War. A new chapter of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, a men's lineage society for male descendants of Union soldiers, is being formed in Spencer, Roane Co., WV. A special ceremony is being planned to honor Capt. SPENCER.
