You did not state what you needed for Alexander Suttle....I have a great deal on him and would be glad to share.....He almost always went barefooted and had such calloused feet that he could husk chesnuts with his bare feet. My Dad is Alexander's grandson. Alexander was married to Luvilda Ferrell ( I have her lineage traced back as well.) Feel free to email me...always wonderful to find a common interest.

wow...Louvilda Ferrell and Alex Suttle were my great-great grandparents. Their daughter, Roberta, married "Tompie" McGraw. They lived on Sand Run near Linden.
One of their daughters, Claudia was my grandmother. another of their Daughters, Mona, is still living in Williamstown, WV.
I have one story about Alex's demise. not a happy story.
I would love to get any more info you have on the Ferrels and the Suttles. I have a few photos of Luvilda if anyone would like copies. I have them scanned in and can email them to you.

I would love to hear the story about Alexander Suttle. He was my Great Grandfather. His son Denvil Dennis was my Grandfather....my Dad was Marvin Eugene Suttle...we lost him last November. I have often heard Dad speak of Tug McGraw....they played alot of baseball together. Any photos would also be enjoyed mightily. Dad said that Alexander rarely wore shoes and that his heels were so hardened that he could walk on chesnut burrs without pain. Now that's tough feet. Looking forward to hearing from you.....Elaine

I've never heard that about Alex Suttle.
My email is buckeyesx6@verizon.net. send me a note and I can forward some photos. Did you have a great uncle by the name of Jim?
I had bad news yesterday. I learned that Mona McGraw Johnson passed away last week at the age of 95.
Do you know a John Suttle that was a teacher in Belpre, Ohio in the 70's?
