Would like to know more about the HOBBS family from Roane Co Wv. Mary Hobbs of Tazewell Va married James Gibson and moved to Roane and then Clay Co WV after the Civil War. I was not aware of any Hobbs in those counties before Civil War, however I have found several marriages on ancestory.com of Hobbs FROM ROANE CO WV.
