Still looking for info on John Morris, born approx. 1830, fought in Co. G, 9th WVa volunteers, then lived in Roane County (Spencer)until at least 1870. Wife Louisa, children Rufus, John, Elizabeth, Bell. Mother possibly named Rachel. Where was John Morris born, who were his parents, when did he get married, when did he die? This is a very elusive branch of the family, any help would be appreciated.
