Just found out that my g,g,grandfather's sister Delilah Smith m. Samuel T. Elmore — I need a marriage date. She was b 1859 and d 1935. He was b 1851 and d 1933. I have a partial list of their children but could use some help. I do have a photo of them also that I will share. They are buried at Statts Cemetery near Gabe WV. Can anyone help me complete this family?

I don't have any additional info on this line but maybe I could pick your brain a little bit? I think that this Samuel Elmore is a s/o Nancy Elmore Foster, who was the 2nd wife of David N. Foster (I think...).
It's actually David that I am interested in but you never know where the good clues will come from. Is there anything additional you can tell me about this line? Thanks!

Dave!
Thank you for sending out this email!
I would love to have informaiton on Sam and Delilah Smith Elmore.
Delilah was the sister of my great-great-grandfather Isaiah Smith. I don't know a lot about her family, so any info you could share would be great.
I also noticed that you mentioned the name Criner and Craig Co VA. My great-great aunt in another line - Sarah Sampson - married an Isaac Criner and they moved to Oklahoma in the 1880s. Isaac was born in Craig or Giles County, if I am not mistaken. Are we connected through that line also? I have a wonderful photo of Isaac and Sarah if that is part of you line.
My home email is wvgal1956@aol.com
Hope to hear from you soon.
