I am not researching this name or family. I can offer the following from publications I have.
Nicholas B. Linger & Sarah A. Casto were married, in Lewis County, 7 Dec. 1848. They are in the 1850 Lewis County Census. They show up in the 1880 Census of Roane County, as follows:

Thanks for your quick reply on the Casto/Linger query which I posted to the Roane County, WV list. You said you could send the children listed in the census. If you find time I would certainly appreciate it. This has been one of my brick walls.
