Looking for information on THOMAS CARPENTER m(2) CHRISTINA(HICKS)BUCKBEE. First wife's name unknown
Thomas & Christina had 1 child VINTON RAY CARPENTER m HAZEL PERRY(my grandparents). Christina had children by first marriage one name is Okey. Other children; John, Evelyn,
David(French)and Ethel,may also have been an Ocee and a Benton. Not known if these are all Carpenters by Thomas' first marriage or if some are Buckbee's. Also there was an uncle Snowden

In Bishop's HISTORY OF ROANE COUNTY, p289, he says that Thomas had sons, John and James. When James married, he was listed as the s/o Thomas and Sarah, and born in Jackson Co. You might try Jackson records.
