I am looking information on the family history of the FATHER of Jesse Elbert Ferrell III. Jesse was adopted by his stepfather at the age of three, so now his name is Jesse Albert Turner. His birth name was pulled from his adoption papers. The only information I have about the paternal side of his family is that Jesse was born (04/12/61) in his grandmother's (father's mom) house , possibly in Left Hand Hill. O. F. Carroll from Clendenin was the "D.O." His birth certificate indicates his birth place "rural in Roane County". His father left shortly after Jesse was born, and he and his mother moved back to Louisiana within months of his birth.
I thought that I would be looking for Jesse Elbert Ferrell II, but my searches have come up with very little.
I would appreciate any insight,
