The church held its regular service this evening and after sermon by the pastor, proceeded to business.
1. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. N.B. The church received notice that brother W. T. Craig had united with the Lower Salem Baptist Church of Lower Salem, Ohio.
2. Treasurer reported $3.50 on pstor's salary and $1.10 on incidental expenses since last report.

2. On motion, sister Pearl Evans was received for baptism and the hand of welcome extended.

4. On motion, brother W. A. McCoy was appointed to solicit and collect money to pay for Lamp Stove-pipe Oil and window glass.
5. On motion, the church pledged herself to pay Ten Dollars or more for State Missions not later than Sept. 30, 1900.

2. Treasurer reported #3.00 on pastor's salary and $.74 on incidental expenses since the last report.
3. On motion, brethern T. H. Springston, P. H. Morford, W. A. McCoy, Robert Short and Wm. Stine were appointed committee to select a site for a baptistry and to let the contract for the construction of the same.

1. On motion, sister Minnie Showen was received for baptism.
2. On motion, brother C. O. Showen was granted a letter to unite with Union Baptist Church of Gilmer Co., W.Va.
3. Sister Lizzie Rogers and brother Warren McCoy received the hand of fellowship and sister Minnie Showen the hand of welcome.
4. Treasurer reported $.50 on last years salary of the pastor, $3.50 on present year and $2.89 on incidental expenses since last report, and $12.75 sub scribed on baptistry and $10.50 of the amount has been paid.

2. On motion the clerk was directed to sign certificate of as many members as we are entitled to represent us in the B.Y.P.U. which meets in Cincinnati, July 12, 1900.
