Gallahue Homestead

This is a picture of the Gallahue homestead. It would had sat at the address of 250 Windyville Road. (Now a modular home sits next to where the Gallahue home sat.) In 1990 a huge windstorm came and took off the back part of the house. My grandmother loved that old house and put many hours of restoring it. My dad about 1997 or 98 tore the house down. When Walter died, Brooks Davis ask Everett Douglas if he ever decided to sell the Gallahue property he would like first bid and of course he got it. My Dad, Dave & A.Dolores as children spent time with the Gallahues since both farms connected to each other. I have written down the many stories they have shared with me about the Gallahues.
